I'm trying to turn you into a different person in my head. Someone I like less, because that way not having you around is a lot easier. Is that unfair? Depends on how much I matter to you I suppose.
It's been a few months since I did much other than doodle on scrap paper, since work has been so nuts lately... I've been neck deep in the subaru.com redesign and doing all sorts of ad work. Hourly Comic Day is a Sunday and this is my first weekend off in forever, so either the comics will be very boring or very fun.
I know I've mentioned that most of what I've been composing lately has been built on loops, mostly ambient stuff - here's a good example, a short excerpt from a longer, really noisy/bass-heavy piece. Except for the bass, this is all live playing - it achieves an orchestral quality because each note is specifically designed to be played into what's coming in the next measure. Laptop jams + mad effects = Screengaze?
..Not sure why that term hadn't previously occurred to me.
Heard this today:
"We all need to fear people who love an ideology, set of rules, or system above all else, including other people; because the flipside of that love is a hatred for anything and anyone that interferes with the realization of that system."
